Great Fun This Saturday For Your Family!
Dear Classic, Challenge and Academy Parents:
Marathon Games are here and we hope you share our excitement for a great day of family fun this Saturday, May 19, 2012, at JBL!
Many folks have asked us about the schedule for this Saturday. As you will see, we hope you and your player will spend the day with us! Here are the most important basics:
- Players need to arrive at 12:30 for the Club Wide Panoramic Photo. You will want to be here for this!
- Players need to wear their full game day kit including game day shorts, red socks and uniform top!
Classic players should wear their red uniform top and Challenge and Academy players should wear their black tops.
- Games will begin after the photo and all players will have a game that starts within 30 minutes after the completion of the photo.
- Game schedules will be available at JBL so that you can help your player find their way to the next game.
- Games end at 6:00 pm. All Players will have a game that is scheduled in either the last time slot or the time slot before. Time slots last 30 minutes.
- In short, plan to be with us from 12:30- 6:30! Again, game schedules for your player will be provided on Saturday! This has worked very well in the past.
- Players will eat after their last game, not before. Families will be fed earlier, from 2:30-4:00 pm. Please pay attention to this schedule as it is important that we have time between feeding family members and players to prepare enough food for players!

The ABYSA Academy Marathon Games will be held on May 19, 2012. More information will be provided to Academy families as we approach the spring. A big thank-you to all participants in the 2011 Marathon Games. The event was remarkably successful and we look forward to another great day of soccer and fundraising success in 2012.
