HFC Challenge Spring Season Evaluations
Tryout Evaluations are complete for the U11 and U12 Boys and Girls for the Spring 2015 season
U13/14 Boys Supplimental Evaluations
- Tuesday January 27, 2015
- JBL Field – TBD
- You must register for these evaluations online through your blue sombrero account which can be accessed or created at www.abysa.org.
If you are currently participating on a Challenge team that played this past fall season, you do NOT need to re-register. Challenge is a fall and spring commitment for U11/12 players and we only offer supplemental evaluations for these groups to fill any vacant roster spots or to form an additional team.
The U13/14 Girls only play Challenge in the Fall season as they’ll play school soccer in the spring. However, HFC does offer a Skills Training program in the Spring season for U13/14 Girls who would like supplimental training in addition to their school soccer or for those players who want to keep up their skills and do not have a school program to play for. If you’re interested in participating in the Skills Training Program for U13/14 Girls in the Spring 2015 please contact David Knapp: firstname.lastname@example.org
If you have any questions regarding Challenge Tryouts/Evaluations please feel free to contact HFC’s Challenge Director David Knapp

HFC Challenge Soccer Tryout Evaluations
The goal of the Challenge Training Program is to provide players experiencing success at the Recreation or Academy level an opportunity to develop the individual skills in both the technical and tactical aspects of the game. For those players not involved in our Classic Program (Highland Football Club), the Challenge Training Program offers the next best opportunity for players to gain the skills needed to bring their game to a higher level. The Challenge Program offers boys and girls teams in the Under-11 through Under-14 age groups.
Player Selection Policy:
- The average team has 11-13 players on its roster (all teams in all age groups play in the 8v8 format). Challenge trainers make all the decisions on player selection.
- Unless excused by the Challenge Director, every player must tryout in his or her age group and must make every effort to attend all tryout sessions for his or her age group.
Notification of Selection:
The Challenge Director will notify via email players who have been selected or not selected. All emails will be sent as soon as possible after the initial tryout dates. It is important that you let us know if you will accept a position, if offered, as soon as possible.
