FUNdamentals Camp Developmental Focuses:

ABYSA’s FUNdamentals Soccer Camp offers a games-centered teaching approach to soccer education, creating an exciting and entertaining environment designed to boost player learning. The FUNdamentals teaching method is designed to enrich players’ passion for soccer while teaching them the proper techniques for future soccer success. The camp will employ games designed to build technical foundations for dribbling, passing, receiving, shielding, and shooting. Older age groups will also be exposed to individual and small-group tactical implications of the game.

Group Formation:
Campers will be placed in proper age groups and skill levels to ensure all players benefit from developmentally appropriate activities, teaching, and competition.

Coaching:
FUNdamentals Camp Staff includes former collegiate and professional players each of whom coaches locally in the ABYSA Classic Division (HFC). All staff leaders hold the prestigious United States Soccer Federation (USSF) National Youth License, licensing them to educate young soccer players in a safe, developmentally appropriate teaching environment.
