In the past five years, the Adult Recreational League for ABYSA has generated more than $198,000 for the G.O.A.L.S. (Granting Opportunities for Advancement in Life through Soccer) Financial Aid Program. No other single funding source in ABYSA has contributed more towards the reduction of player fees in HFC than has our "Adult Wreck" seasonal league.
The G.O.A.L.S. program provides financial support to committed players who otherwise would not be able to participate in competitive soccer, and all profit generated by our Sunday afternoon fun league for adults goes into the fund that directly pays for financial aid.
The Asheville Buncombe Youth Soccer Association (ABYSA) is a 501( c ) 3 not for profit organization providing children and families in Western North Carolina with both recreational and competitive soccer programs.

The league is casual, with no referees, as the teams and their captains manage the matches each week. Players have ranged in age from 18-70, and the league seeks to find a balance between all players. It's a great place for families to play together. Spouses, parents and their adult children, siblings...
We play ALL YEAR LONG in Spring (March-May), Summer (June-August), Fall (September-November) and Winter (December-February).
- 13-17 player rosters; games are 9v9
- We re-form existing teams and create a few new ones.
- NEW PLAYERS are very much welcome, and you don't need to know anyone to get involved!
