HFC Academy 9U & 10U (Birth Years: 2017, 2016, & 2015)
The Academy program is designed to help 8U, 9U and 10U players improve their technical soccer skills which they will need to play at a higher level as well as their love for the game. Our dedicated coaching staff follows a curriculum that provides players with high quality instruction and age appropriate activities which creates a fun learning environment. The majority of the players that enter the Academy during their 9U and 10U years move on to play Competitive (Classic) soccer once they graduate the Academy program.
A pool style training and game system is utilized to create the best possible environment for player development. This allows for players of similar abilities to train and play together consistently.
HFC Academy 11U & 12U (Birth Years: 2014 & 2013)
The Academy 11U/12U program is a developmental program for players that are not yet technically, physically or mentally ready for the most competitive level of play which is Classic soccer but need to play at a higher level than Recreation soccer can provide. This is an in-house program where teams are formed based on parity.
HFC Competitive (Classic) 11U - 19U (Birth Years: 2014 - 2006)
The goal of our HFC Competitive Program (also known as "Classic") is to provide talented young athletes, who possess a strong interest in soccer training and competition, an environment that will allow them to reach their maximum potential in the sport. We offer the highest level of soccer training available to youth in Western North Carolina and employ the best coaching staff available. The majority of our coaches have played soccer at the collegiate level or higher and hold coaching licenses from the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) and United soccer Coaches (USC). Coaches in the older age groups commonly have collegiate coaching experience.
HFC Intermediate Program 13U - 15U (Birth Years: 2012, 2011, & 2010)
The Intermediate program is designed to help 13U through 15U players improve their technical soccer skills which they will need to play at a higher level as well as their love for the game. This is a 4-month program that spans the fall season for girls and spring season for boys. Our coaching staff follows a curriculum that provides players with quality instruction and age appropriate activities which creates a fun learning environment. Players that excel in the Intermediate Program can progress to play on competitive teams within the HFC Competitive (Classic) framework.
A team-centered training and game system is utilized to create the best possible environment for player development.
